Disciplinary Intuitions / Maker Motes / Six Learnings awarded a Digital Learning for Development grant

following on from my post last December, my team has successfully contracted to collaborate with the Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia to take our Maker Motes approach in to schools there.

this project will be under the auspices of a Digital Learning for Development (DL4D) grant, administered by the Foundation for Information Technology Education and Development (FIT-ED) of the Philippines, as part of a program jointly funded by the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) of Canada and the Department for International Development (DFID) of the United Kingdom.

Maker Motes: designing for wider societal good

This video builds upon the introduction to the Maker Motes learning system, and frames the Motes as forming a crowdsourced data infrastructure from which interest groups and NGOs might access the data for more optimal resource utilisation and decision-making.
