This is an example of how Second Life may be used in a regular classroom environment within the space of an 80-minute lesson.

Minecraft and map literacy

Teacher: "what can we find on a map?"

Students: "coordinates"

T: "very good, what are coordinates?"

S: "x, y, z"

T: "did you learn that in primary school?"

S: "No! we learnt it in Minecraft!"
