tomorrow marks the seventh anniversary of this blog.
originally conceptualised to document my doctoral research, it has evolved to become a primary means for me to journal my thoughts about and adventures in the fictive world of Second Life.
one of the single most influential people i have met on this latter journey - and i was privileged to count her a dear friend - was Leslie Jarmon, who passed away late last year.
it is fitting, then, that on this eve of the anniversary of this blog, i am able to dedicate something to Leslie's memory. i have compiled the profiles that Carina Gonzalez has so painstakingly written over the past few months, into an ePub.
Profiling the Educators of the Educators Coop in Second Life presently documents twelve such educators, many of whom have been in SL since the inception of the Coop back in 2007, when it was but a twinkle in the eyes of Leslie and her friend and colleague Joe Sanchez (SL: North Lamar). it is my hope that this 1.3 MB download will serve as a handy reminder on your iPad - should one ever be needed - of the breadth and reach of Leslie's vision, and of the sheer depth and diversity of work in learning and in education that this wonderful community has embarked upon so far.
Profiling the Educators of the Educators Coop in Second Life is dedicated to the life and memory of Leslie Jarmon (SL: Bluewave Ogee).
