how sweet it is

for the fifty-ninth episode of ventriloquy, i bring you footage taken from the Polston Sugar Farm, near Mackay in Queensland.

we were able to visit the farm as part of a fieldtrip in conjunction with the IGU-CGE symposium.

thanks to farmer Cecil, we were able to see for ourselves how a combine harvester works, in the harvesting of mature sugar cane. a special guest also paid us a visit!
