in this third installment of the adventures of the teacher-trainees in my Service Learning class, we see how the activities they have designed for some fourteen- to sixteen-year-olds at Christ Church Secondary School now emphasise communication and literacy, while still promoting the value of teamwork.
it's especially heartening for me to see that in this curriculum which the teacher-trainees designed themselves, the recurrent themes are interpreted week after week in quite different ways. today's activities, for example, comprised charades and decoding sentences. these are quite different from the skits and ball-games of previous sessions, yet all have been designed to build upon each other and to cater to a wide variety of learning styles.
i'm very proud indeed to bring you the highlights of today's session, as the forty-third episode of ventriloquy! it's a 23.7 MB download.
