today is the third day of the Lunar New Year.
i was fortunate enough to witness a traditional Chinese 'lion dance' performance by a troupe of musicians and acrobats. 'Lion dances' have long been part of New Year celebrations among the Chinese diaspora, and it was great to see that the troupe that brought us this performance included non-Chinese members as well!
i only had my camera-phone handy, so i apologise in advance for the poor resolution of the video footage. i've also been having problems with the audio tracks fading in and out beyond my control, with the present version of iMovie.
