this twenty-first episode of ventriloquy is the sixth in a series which records the conversations that my students and i have in class, around the microteaching sessions that i've designed to be part of their postgraduate teacher-training course.
this episode is 111 minutes in duration, so i've split it into two files.
the first part is 14.8 MB in size, and follows-up on some very good points that the teacher-trainees raised in their blogs, after having participated as students between the ages of twelve and thirteen in the microteaching. This part of the recording also includes the discussion pertaining to the lesson on map reading.
(by the way, this week i also had meetings with Allan Luke and Kerry Lee. Kerry has advised me to de-emphasise the pre- and post-tests because the number of runs each student participant had (five per test) was too few for truly razor-sharp conclusions to be drawn)
