Raymaker Land Management - first-year anniversary :-)

one year ago, i made the decision to enter the rental market in Second Life, with Raymaker Land Management :-)

through God's grace, i have been blessed with meeting many new people as my tenants, whom i would not otherwise have had the opportunity to interact with.

i am very grateful to each of you - thank you.

i haven't planned for any celebrations in-world; nevertheless, here are some celebratory pictures taken at a car showroom in Singapore during a traditional 'lion dance', on this, the fourth day of the Lunar New Year :-)

celebrate Winterfaire with the Lindens :-)

from December 19 to January 5, Linden Lab will be having its annual winter celebrations, centred around Wengen, Voss, Zermatt and Moritz.

there will be a Snowman Building Contest, and the Snowball Fight between the Lindens and Residents.

Raymaker Land Management is proud and happy to make available a choice of two rental properties at Anton, which is the nearest sim from which to visit and tour the Winterfaire celebrations in the afore-mentioned four regions.

The Grand Hotel at Grouse

Cross Grid Rally - Vehicle Road Rally Event

Be there when Second Life's first planned rallying event hits the Linden streets July 20th! Many drivers from all over the world (car enthusiasts, racers and car builders), will dominate the roads. CGR is unlike any other car event; It travels through some 250 regions (broken up into 3 stages).

Anyone and everyone is invited to be at the opening event, at the starting line of the most anticipated motoring event! In-between rallying stages, check out their cars at one of the 3 locations along the way, and spend time with SL's most car-savvy residents. This is a one time event, you won't want to miss! CGR kicks off in the snowy regions of the Sansara mainland continent from Grouse, where it travels through the two-lane snow-covered road-ways past local Austrian Police to the north, traveling some 67 sims. Then it's time to do some serious back-country driving through the scenic tropical regions of the Heterocera wandering the single-lane Japanese-police-patrolled roads until reaching a beach under the palms. Lastly, CGR heads from southern Sansara, and speeds its way over bridges and large scenic canyons, covering hundreds of thousands of road-textured prims.

Raymaker Land Management - the Treehouse at Seefeld

it's been really a busy day for me - this is my third post :-)

i would just like to thank Tobias Novi for his help in setting up his terrifically crafted Treehouse.

i've kept my eye on a few treehouses by various builders over the past several months, but i could never find one which was truly compelling - till now.

i welcome you to visit it at Seefeld and consider starting a rental :-)

[update: as of 23 February, i have dismantled the Treehouse. i would like to take the opportunity to thank all its former tenants :-) ]

Temasek - first pic of the waterfront rentals

within twenty-four hours of coming onboard as Temasek's third architect, Lim Pikajuna has already worked his magic on the northeast corner the sim.

having come up with a brand-new bespoke design for Temasek, here is the first pic of Lim Pikajuna's waterfront chalets :-)

today, all four of us were present at Temasek this evening. the atmosphere really was electric, in large part due to the tremendous creative energy that each of the three architects was feeding off from, yet at the same time contributing to. as for me, it was just a huge thrill to be able to watch the team at work :-)

now that i've finally gotten my MacBook Air up and running, i've had time to put together what i hope is a clean and simple site for Raymaker Land Management :-)

Raymaker Land Management - our new premises at Durango

it's not even been three weeks since Raymaker Land Management opened its doors, and already i've seen fit to move to larger premises :-)

the new site of Raymaker Land Management is the southeast corner of the sim of Durango. The site offers breathtaking views of an original Linden waterfall and a precipitous gorge.

i thought long and hard before making the move, and set myself some very tough goals:

- i wanted the new building to be an unmistakable landmark in the area, making a bold statement regarding my own aesthetic values;
- i wanted the building to communicate to the visitor some sense of the superior service which i am trying to establish as a hallmark of Raymaker Land Management;
- i wanted the building to echo the architectural metaphor of the original gallery, while at the same time interpreting it anew
even more, i wanted the building to exist sympathetically with
- the awe-inspiring and historic landscape;
- as well as with existing builds in the area, including the ad-farms :-)

i am very pleased with the result :-)

there's much more floor space, and it's now much easier to learn more about the various types of properties available.

i hope the new premises of Raymaker Land Management at Durango, becomes a destination in and of itself, rather than simply as a means to an end.

i look forward to welcoming you at Durango!
