deux chevaux
one of the best things about Second Life is how it presents our imagination with a canvas upon which to paint one's long-cherished dreams.
although i'm presently driving a Citroën C5 (it's actually my second :-P ), i had always resigned myself to the fact that i would never own a 2CV.
today, however, that changed, thanks to the exquisite craftsmanship of Apolon Obscure.
(Apolon is helping me with a couple of other projects, so i'll be highlighting his work in subsequent posts :-) )
with my 2CV, i continue to live my dreams, and to draw yet closer parallels to the adventures of Hergé's intrepid boy-reporter - Tintin :-)
don't scoff at the 2CV, by the way... it had an extremely advanced suspension (its front and rear wheels on either side were mechanically interconnected).
in fact, it was good enough for Bond, so it's definitely good enough for me :-)
and... just in case all this talk of 2CVs is making you feel all green and environmentally-conscious, might i suggest paying a visit to the Second Chance Trees reforestation project.
but first, do have a look at this terrific video by Draxtor Despres (RL: Bernhard Drax). thank you, Draxtor, for sharing it with us :-)
